It is six months until Christmas - What does Walt Disney World have planned for the Parks?
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is magical at Christmas! Main Street USA is all decked out, and there is a giant Christmas tree, with a PhotoPass photographer, right in Town Square!
However, if you're interested in being enveloped in the Christmas spirit, then Disney's specially ticketed afterhours event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, is right for you!
According to their website, there will be:
- A fireworks show
- A parade
- A cookie and hot chocolate stroll
- Characters in special Christmas outfits
- Lower wait times for rides
- SNOW on main street!
Epcot
Hollywood Studios
- Live music
- A special character show hosted by Kermit and Miss Piggy
- A Nightmare Before Christmas singalong
- An ice skating show on Hollywood Boulevard
- More than 20 characters meet n' greets
- Lower wait times for rides
- PhotoPass photos included!
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom celebrates Christmas by bringing out artic animals for interactive meet n'greets. But these animals are beautiful artisan sculpted puppets that interact with you as you walk toward the Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life will also feature a light show at dusk that, according to the website, will "shimmers and sparkles each evening, accompanied by a heartwarming musical score."
